Provide specialized expertise within multiple IT systems such as: Windows 2008 R2/2012, Exchange Server 2013, VMWare 6+ as well as general knowledge of related disciplines. This would include performing installation, administration, troubleshooting and support of server operating systems/services, storage, and Data Center solutions. Oversee the implementation of system specifications; integration, testing, and documentation are a key part of the role. Exhibit strong technical skills as they relate to numerous systems and storage technologies including but not limited to: Windows Server 2008/2012/2016, Exchange Server 2010/2013/2016, Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014, DFS, AD, DHCP, IIS, VMware vSphere 6.5, ESXi 6.5, Cisco UCS/Nexus, Infoblox, SCCM, Hyper-V. Responsible for performing in-depth analysis and technical support of systems, including complex problem resolution, design, development, testing, operational integration, and user support. Provide operating systems planning and evaluation for performance analysis, capacity planning and hardware upgrades.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
8-10 years of related systems engineering experience.
