GIS Web Developer

TS/SSBI Clearance

Stuttgart, Germany


Design, Development and Publishing of Map Layers, working directly with the client to understand business requirements needed to modify/create maps. Candidate should be proficient in developing maps using, Leaflet, Cesium, Google API, ESRI, ArcGIS skills and strong database skills. Interaction with the Customer business and developer personnel will require strong communication skills.

Our team is looking for well-organized, self-directed applicants who have experience with the a suite of desktop and server software as well as with developing desktop and web-based GIS applications using a variety of programming languages.

You will be responsible for working with a core team to manage large and small GIS projects for a wide range of applications. You may be called upon to assist with the design, development and maintenance of geospatial applications through concept, design, and implementation phases. Your role
will also include supporting other personnel in utilizing GIS applications and software as well as interfacing with clients and teaming partners.


Bachelors Degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.


  • Experience in AngularJS, EmberJS or other JS Frameworks
  • Experience on Google API, Cesium and OpenLayers and oher Geospatial JS Frameworks
  • Experience with JavaScript, C#, HTML5, CSS3, SQL Server, MySQL
  • Experience with web services (SOAP, REST, XML and JSON)
  • Perform web development using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, AJAX on various platforms such as SharePoint 2010
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies, work independently, and quickly turnaround maps, application prototypes or deliverables.
  • Ability to use environmental data and developing applications for visualization, analysis and presentation of environmental data.
  • Strong background in data management.
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Candidate must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification requirements at time of hire.
  • Candidate must obtain ITIL Foundation certification within 90 days of hire.
  • TESA requirements:
    • A bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of recent specialized experience, OR;
    • An associate’s degree plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, OR;
    • A major certification plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, OR;
    • 11 years of recent specialized experience
