    Sr. Budget Analyst 

    TS/SCI Clearance



    Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, techniques, work processes, and applicable regulations in assigned subject-matter area(s).
    May require professional certification(s) in one or more specific technologies, depending on job assignment.
    • Work closely with other functional departments such as contracts, subcontracts, procurement, program management as well as government customer.

    • Develop and maintain program baselines, estimates at completion (EAC), help track program budgets and funding, forecast financial data for program.

    • Provide financial reporting requirements, both written and verbal presentations.

    • Manage cost, both labor and non-labor.

    • Review subcontractor invoices.

    • Update budget reforecast and spends plan.

    • Performs routine and non-routine project financial reporting including, but not limited to: Internal Program Review (IPR) slides, 75% Funding Notifications, Estimates to Complete, Estimates at Completion, Forecast and Budget Reports, Invoice Backup Reports, and various other client-specific reports.

    • Should be able to build small price models and be able to analyze and advise PMs on what if scenarios.

    • Must be able to build forecast from the ground up including application of indirect rates and correct burdens.

    • Review cost and complete adjustments to ensure labor and ODC are applied correctly.

    • Communicate program financial performance to budget team lead as well as program manage

    • Must be able to prepare adjusting journal entries, reconcile various types of accounts and invoices in a timely manner.

    • Must be able to understand and explain variances from plan.

    • Must be proficient in excel

    • 2-3 years of government contracting experience required.

    • TS/SCI preferred
    - Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a TS/SCI Clearance.

    - Must be able to achieve Security+ CE Certification (or equivalent) within 90 days of hire for positions requiring elevated privileges and ITIL V3 Foundation within six months of hire.

    - Additional specific certifications may be required.

    - This position may be required to complete short-term deployments to austere locations worldwide.

    - Analyzes user needs and performs research and functional analysis on a variety of projects. 



    Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.


    5-8 years of related experience.

    The work is typically performed in an office environment, which requires normal safety precautions; work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment.
