  • Job Description

    General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) has an immediate need for Desktop Management, experienced in managing and troubleshooting Client-Server software in a large enterprise environment.  

     

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

     

    • troubleshoot workstations and server (Windows 7 and 10 severs 2008, 2012, 2016)
    • independently installs, tests, and implements complex component-level changes within the technology infrastructure
    • operates, maintains, and provides customer support for a wide variety of complex technology components
    • analyze and develop innovative resolutions for complex problems involving availability and/or performance at the component level
    • works independently with vendors to resolve problems and, implements solutions
    • documents processes / procedures, automation, and reporting to institutionalize end-point threat detection and response
    • reduces time to identify and resolve vulnerabilities within the enterprise environment

    We can only accept US citizens and or Green Card Holders.  The security clearance for this program requires the selected candidate to have resided in the US for the past five years and not have left the country for longer than 90 consecutive days. 

    Education

    Education:

    • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of directly related experience in systems administration and analysis
    • 3+ years of client endpoint engineering
    • 1+ years of Microsoft server administration/engineering experience
    • 1+ years of using Powershell on a daily basis
    • Current, daily experience with client management tools (Microsoft Intune, SCCM)
    • Ability to build high quality relationships and inspire others
    • Desired Certifications: CISSP, Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH), SFCP, GCIA, ISSEP, ISSMP, GCIH, GCFA, CSLC, CISM, CCNA, CCNP
    • Ability to achieve a Public Trust Clearance
