    We’re looking for a talented Systems Engineer who has the experience necessary to help build out our existing infrastructure and troubleshoot problems as they arise. We’re a top tier company with a team of highly dedicated IT professionals who give their all to help our enterprise flourish. The ideal candidate for this position can help lead and prioritize mission critical tasks and coordinate the construction and expansion of our systems so updates and other maintenance tasks don’t get in the way of daily operations. We’re interested in automating as many of our processes as possible. The positon will help provide solutions that shall support the infrastructure hosting workloads for both on premises and Amazon Web Services (AWS).




    • Ability to serve as a lead or backup scrum master
    • Ability to analyzes user interfaces, maintain hardware and software performance tuning, analyze workload and computer usage, maintain interfaces with outside systems, analyze downtimes, analyze proposed system modifications, upgrades and new COTS.
    • Ability to defines problems, and develops system requirements and program specifications, from which programmers prepare detailed flow charts, programs, and tests.
    • Coordinates closely with programmers to ensure proper implementation of program and system specifications.
    • Technical capability to add data sets to a complex index building process.
    • Provide the technical guidance and direction to design the modular operating system baselines to support the modular data and application Tier hosting strategy.
    • Will work as part of a team to champion and implement SysOps and DevOps concepts.
    • Demonstrate excellent knowledge and experience with cloud services and technologies.
    • Knowledge on how to both craft and drive good requirements and specifications documentation.
    • Have a diverse IT background, strong hands-on technical experience, organizational and interpersonal skills working as part of a team and at times in a highly autonomous manner, mentoring others as needed.
    • Ability to generate weekly, monthly reports.
    • Ability to provide updated metrics to management on a weekly basis.
    • Strong knowledge and ability to work within JIRA.



    • Experience in creating an engineer design and implementation plan for the Secure Web and Application Services, Virtualization and Cloud Services, and Enterprise Storage and Backup Services.

    1. Performs complex systems development and design work that may include logic design, I/O design, firmware development, model formulation, manufacturing and development cost projections, computer architecture analysis and design, and analog or digital systems engineering.


    2. Performs systems modeling, simulation, and analysis.


    3. Plans upgrades of operating systems and designs systems enhancements.


    4. Develops documentation on new or existing systems.


    5. Develops and conducts tests to ensure systems meet documented user requirements.


    6. Identifies, analyzes, and resolves system problems.


    7. Provides system/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance.


    8. Determines system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.


    9. Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced systems engineers and may have supervisory responsibility.


    10. May serve as a technical team or task lead.


    11. Serves as liaison with clients, participating in meetings to ensure client needs are met.


    12. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.


    13. Participates in special projects as required.


    1. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.


    2. Masters Degree preferred.


    10-15 years of related systems engineering experience.
